You can get help and advice on child and family health, parenting, money, training and employment. Our children's centres bring services together to improve the quality of life and increase opportunities for all children. The services offered include:early educationchildcarefamily support and support services in the home or community (known as outreach) for parents and carerschild and family health servicesJob Centre Plusinformation, advice and guidance to other services available.These services will be delivered from a variety of settings in each children's centre across Derbyshire. Services may be delivered by a number of organisations working together, who may be from the local authority, voluntary and community organisations or the private sector.All children's centres and the activities are inclusive, but specific activities are also offered for children with special educational needs and disabilities. You will find these by searching the Local Offer.Many of the centres have sensory rooms that offer a relaxed environment for children with SEND.
