Adult Community Education Centre (New Mills) - Derbyshire County Council

We have 15 main centres and run courses from around 100 community venues throughout Derbyshire. We offer over 2,000 courses and activities every year that include:

- Courses with recognised qualifications

- Courses to help you in your work or get back into work

- Courses for your own interest and personal development

- Courses to help you into apprenticeships and traineeships

- Family learning programmes, for parents, carers and children to learn and develop as a family.

You can find, book and pay online for many of our courses using the online course search at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/coursesearch or find brochures at our Adult Community Education Centres, libraries and many community venues.

We are committed to providing an environment where everyone will have an equal opportunity to participate and develop to their full potential.

Some people may need extra support with their learning. This may be because of a specific learning difficulty or disability. We aim to help all students by offering individual support.

We can provide special equipment, large print, hearing loops, note-takers and signers for you to join your course and complete your study.
