Eligibility:

In order to meet the criteria for our service the child or young person must have a Learning Disability. We work with the network around the child including family members, carers, respite provider etc.

Children and young people can be referred to us by any other agency.

For example School Teachers, Social Workers, GP's, or Paediatricians

Our referrals are looked at in single point of access meeting with the Complex Behaviour Service and the Disabled Children's Nurses, so we can make sure you get the right level of support.

Transition arrangements:

We are able to work with young people until the age of 19 which allows for time to transition onto adult services if this is required. We have strong links with the Adult Learning Disability services and the transition will be planned with you.
