Bullous, Joanne Claire

I have been working as a childminder for almost 2 years now and am extremely passionate about working with children, providing quality and enjoyable activities to promote all areas of development.

Prior to working as a childminder I managed a children's day nursery up to having my first child.

I decided to start work as a childminder to provide my children and others in the area with good quality care using my previous nursery experience and adapting it to a smaller scale home based setting.

I have a Btec National Diploma in Childhood Studies and a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies along with various other certificates from training I have attended through the many years of working with children.

I achieved an OUTSTANDING grading from Ofsted in 2011/2012 and continue to change and develop areas to improve outcomes for the children that attend my care.

I work alongside another childminder from my home which enables us to keep open for majority of the year without having to shut and also means that we can have a few more children- more friends to play with!

We are passionate about our local community and outdoors and regularly attend local playgroups and go for walks to local parks.

I have a garage and playroom that which is solely used for minding, enabling children's work to be displayed on walls and we encourage independence with child height storage and coat pegs etc.

Outdoors children are able to plant in our sensory/herb garden, play in sand and water, use the swings, slides, trampoline and much more.

We welcome all children to come and have lots of fun in a bright and friendly environment within a home based setting with all the benefits of a wealth of nursery experience.

NB we also have a dog Max and rabbit Billie which we love to care for.

- I can provide all meals if required.

- Have access to fully insured, serviced and taxed vehicle.
