We carry out assessments of children with developmental problems such as delayed milestones, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, autism and ADHD. We work closely with our colleagues in other parts of the health service, in education and in social care. We provide health information for children who are having an assessment of their educational needs. Please note that accessibility and parking varies at each venue Eligibility information Eligibility: Children aged 0-16 (up to 19 if in special school) living in South Derbyshire. Referral: Referrals are accepted from all primary health care professionals. We are happy to discuss referrals with professionals if they are unsure as to the suitability of any referral of our service. Transition Arrangements: Transition is planned from age 13-14 with the child, family and school. Assessment of the likely on-going medical needs is made, with referral to adult services if indicated.
