Healthwatch Derbyshire

Every voice counts at Healthwatch Derbyshire - we want to hear what children, young people and adults have to say about their health and social care services in Derbyshire.

We want to know what you like and dislike about your dentists, doctors, hospitals, mental health services, opticians, care homes, social care and ambulance services and how you think things could be improved.

We are separate from the services you use and we want you to feel listened to. When you speak out to Healthwatch about the way you would like to be treated or cared for, we can speak up for you.

A number of young people told us that there isn't much to do in the emergency department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and as a result the trust has created a designated play area for children and also a specific area for adolescents. We can make a difference.

We would very much like to encourage people to get involved in Healthwatch and the work that we do. You can find out how to get involved and see our current priorities, questionnaires and surveys (opens in a new window).
