The Targeted and Specialist offer within the Inclusion Support Advisory Service (ISAS) will support schools to meet the needs of pupils with more complex needs and is part of our Graduated Response to meeting children’s needs.
Schools should have first worked with their Inclusion Support Advisory Teacher to review their Ordinarily Available Offer through Whole School Inclusion work and they should use the information on the ISAS Graduated Response page to ensure that quality-first teaching and learning environments are in place. Please also visit the ISAS Useful Resources page to view documents and visit links to support your assess > plan > do > review cycle for children and young people with additional needs.
We strongly recommend that you identify an 'ND Advocate' in your setting and enable them to cascade Continued Professional Development (CPD) to all staff to raise understanding, awareness and acceptance of Neurodiversity within your setting.
