The Derbyshire Vision Impairment Team (Children’s Services) offers a limited book modification scheme. Where books used in class require enlarging for the pupil with a vision impairment, please liaise with your QTVI (Qualified Teacher for Vision Impairment).
Where possible, we try to encourage and sign-post schools to other, often FREE services that are detailed on this page, which are available for children with a vision impairment and provide enlarged Braille and audio books.
