Information and advice
Information about the services that are available to support you in Derbyshire can be found by visiting Derbyshire County Council - Adult Care Services. There is also a range of leaflets that explain the services, which you can download or order from the website.
Signposting
You can contact 'Call Derbyshire' on 01629 533190 to get advice about the services available, or to be directed to brokerage or other organisations that may be able to help maintain your independence.
Brokerage
Our Brokerage team can be contacted by telephone on 01629 537763. They can help you to find suitable local services in your area to meet your particular needs. The Brokerage team can help self-funders or people with a personal budget from Adult Care.
Welfare Rights
The Welfare Rights service can help to ensure you are accessing the benefits and financial support you're entitled to. You can contact the Welfare Benefits helpline on 01629 531535 from 11am to 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, or by emailing welfarebenefits@derbyshire.gov.uk.

Technology Enabled Care (TEC)
Technology Enabled Care (TEC) enables people to live the lives they want, independently, confidently and safely. A wide range of technology-based solutions tailored to individual needs can be offered as part of a support package.

Support Plan
If you are assessed as having eligible needs, a support plan will be developed with you detailing the outcomes you wish to achieve, and a budget will be allocated that can be used to purchase the services required. You may need to contribute to your care costs.
